How many endings do Stray Cat have?
There is one ending on Stray, which cannot be influenced in any way, even if you manage to collect all collecting items and perform all side quests in the game.
Despite the presence of the only ending, most players who managed to get the game are racking their heads. This is obviously taking place, because we play as a literal cat, so we cannot understand anything that our main character from the cat family says. Nevertheless, we can still understand what is actually happening at the end.
What does the ending of Strai mean?
So what really happens at the end of the game, you ask? Well, when you, or rather, the cat will finally get to the dispatch. Your good friend, the B-12 drone, unfortunately, meets his end, helping you escape.
Since the drone was the only one who could speak directly with us and understand the game for us, now we must understand what is happening directly, based on the sequence of events that are now being played out when it is no longer there.
The ultimate goal of the game was to help the cat escape from the city walls and, finally, gain freedom. It can be assumed that this really happens when in the final video it is shown, as if the last time he looks back in the camera before going on a bright light through the door through which we could also see thick vegetation.
This can only mean one thing that our cat finally got out of the city. This fact is also supported by the task that Momo set in the slums before you: to track the group of robots named outsiders and help them escape from the city.
This would be the most reasonable explanation, but who really knows, right? Perhaps we will learn more if a sequel is released.
